  • This training will validate the entry-level networking skills sought by employers. The program is aimed at candidates considering or starting a networking career.
The Course Overview

Attendees of this course will become familiar with general networking concepts and technologies and understand how to manage and troubleshoot a network in a small business environment.

This course covers, in detail, the following aspects of networking: network fundamentals, network infrastructure, hardware, networking protocols and services, and troubleshooting. This course is also a strong precursor to other networking certifications, including the CompTIA Network+ certification.

The Course Curriculum
  • Recognize the fundamental principles on the computer network
  • Become familiar with the infrastructures and the hardware part of a network
  • Acquire skills in protocols and services and troubleshooting
The Course Requirements
  • Candidates should have hands-on experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, TCP/IP, name resolution processes, network services, network topologies, and troubleshooting in wired and wireless networks. Candidates should have acquired at least practical experience in the field of networks.
